Spring Clinic

Hello CWC Soccer Club Parents,
The CWC soccer clinic will begin this Saturday, April 14th.   We will be off on Saturday, April 21st and continue for four additional Saturdays.
Please remember to have your child wear the T-shirt they received in the Fall.  Participants should also wear shin guards and sneakers or cleats.  The clinic is held directly behind Grover Cleveland Middle School. (Grass Field) 
Below is the time schedule for each group.  Pre School - 8:45-9:45  (Royal Blue Shirt)Kindergarten - 10:00-11:00 (Gray Shirt)1st Grade -11:15-12:15 (White Shirt)
If you are interested in volunteering and helping out please send me an email letting me know and indicating what group your child is in.   I will assign you to your child's group.  You do not need soccer knowledge to help out. In case of inclement weather, you will receive an email informing you the clinic is canceled.

Registration for Fall 2017 - Spring 2018

The Caldwell-West Caldwell Soccer Club portal for Tryout Registration for the Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 U-9 to U-15 Travel Program is now open. (Birth year 2004 - 2010 ONLY)

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW BEFORE ACCESSING THE WEBSITE!

If you are registering a returning player:

  1. Click the “Member Login” button in the top right corner of the homepage to login.
  2. Then click the blue “REGISTER NOW” button on the left.
  3. Click the green checkmark next to “Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 – Players
  4. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the Tryout registration.
  5. Returning players do not need to upload their proof of birth documentation if previously uploaded and will not need to upload a new photo for the Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 Season. If you were a U-8 Player during the 2017-2018 season and have not previously uploaded either a picture or Proof of Birth document, you must do so now. See Below for instructions.
  6. If you are paying by credit card you must answer YES to that question and then MUST pay ALL fees by credit card. If you answer NO to the question, you MUST pay all fees by check and MAY NOT pay any fees using a credit card. Total Credit Card surcharge is charged at time of paying Tryout Fee.

If you are registering a new player:

These are the steps to complete your part of the process as the parent of a player:

  1. You will need to create a new Bonzi account as the first step. Click the “Member Login” button in the top right corner of the homepage. Then click the “Create A New Blue Star Sports Account”. Create your account and then log into the account.
  2. Click on the “REGISTER NOW” Button then click on the green checkmark beside" Fall 2018 – Spring 2019 – Players".
  3. Follow the system prompts to enter the required information for your player.  It will include contact info for the player and at least one parent or guardian, birth date, and health insurance,
  4. You will have the option to register another player if need be.
  5. If you are paying by credit card you must answer YES to that question and then MUST pay ALL fees by credit card. If you answer NO to the question, you MUST pay all fees by check and MAY NOT pay any fees using a credit card. Total Credit Card surcharge is charged at time of paying Tryout Fee.

 If the notation “REQUIRED” is beside any question, you must enter the requested information to that question.

  1. Once you have confirmed registration information for your player(s), you can return to your Member Account to complete the remaining two steps.  These remaining steps can be done at a different time if need be.
  2. You will need to upload a proof of birth document for your player(s). . . typically a clear copy of a birth certificate or passport.  A clear jpeg picture of the document will work. (Must be in jpeg format)
  3. You will need to upload a photo for your player(s). (Must be in jpeg format) Review examples (#7 below) for picture requirements.
  4. The following files included in the email sent to players/parents and on the website provide additional assistance/instructions.

ALL Players:

Even though both payment options are available, If you said YES to credit card you MUST pay by credit card. If you said NO you MUST pay by check.

Once you have completed the registration, you will be taken to the Registration Payment Summary Page where you will Continue to the payment Method page and select yuor method of payment (Check or Credit Card). Regardless of the method of payment selected, payment MUST BE RECEIVED prior to May 18th.  Trainers/coaches are not authorized to accept payments at tryouts. Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received. WARNING: It can take 5 business days for mail from local addresses to reach the Club PO Box. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $25 for tryouts. The only exception to this policy is if a player is not selected for any team. The Tryout fee will be applied to the balance due for players selected for a team.

Once selected for a team, you will receive a Notification email advising you to again log into your Member Account to arrange payment of the remaining balance due for the program. The base cost of the program remains the same as last year at $700. (Your balance will be $675 after credit for the Tryout Fee.)

If paying by credit card, you may pay the entire balance. The other option, available only for those paying by credit card, is to pay the fees using a Payment Plan. Regardless of whether you pay in full or by Payment Plan, there is an additional $25 surcharge for paying by credit card. This charge covers the cost to the Club for accepting your credit card payment. Total Credit Card surcharge is charged at time of paying Tryout Fee. Either the full amount ($675) or initial payment ($337.50) under the Payment Plan must be paid by July 5th with the balance payable on August 5th.  Balances due on August 5th using the Payment Plan will be charged to your credit card automatically. There is a Late Fee of $25 for initial/full credit card payments charged after July 5th. (Does not apply to payment plan due August 5th)

If paying by check, the full payment amount of $675 must be received by July 5th. There is a Late Fee of $25 for check payments RECEIVED after July 5th. Mail payment to: CWC Socccer Club, PO Box 1051, West Caldwell, NJ 07007-1051. WARNING: It can take 5 business days for mail from local addresses to reach the Club PO Box.

Please complete your online Tryout registration as soon as possible, it MUST be completed by May 18th to participate in tryouts. Tryouts will be held the week of May 21 during normal practice times. New players will be advised when their tryouts will be held for their team.

IMPORTANT By the end of next year’s program 3 of the 5 current Board members (covering all of the 12 possible Board positions) will have children who have aged out of the program. For the Club to continue in the 2018-2019 season and beyond, it is imperative that other members step up and volunteer to be members of the Board.  Without new volunteers, Caldwell-West Caldwell Soccer Club will simply cease to exist. If you would be willing to volunteer, indicate your interest when you complete the parent portion of the registration form.
